Abstract

The document presents the main results of the experiment about the use of concept maps in the context of the problem - based learning (PBL). The experiment was realized in the Javeriana University (Bogotá, Colombia) with two groups of management undergraduate students. We found that the concept map improved the learning, but does not affect the students’ perception of the PBL method. It is recommended to include concept maps in PBL exercises.
