This work is part of a wider research agenda with regards to “professional politicians” in Latin America. The paper is dedicated to the analysis of the attitudinal dimension of the trajectories of two Colombian politicians, Antanas Mockus Šivickas and Gustavo Petro. Using a qualitative approach, the author examines the attitudinal scope of Mockus and Petro in terms of the consolidation and evaluation of the quality of democracy, as well as similarities and differences between the two, in order to identify their contributions to the consolidation of democracy in Colombia.Downloads
