Resumo

Este estudo buscou analisar o efeito mediador do capital social na relação entre liderança compartilhada nas equipes de gestão de empresas colombianas e desempenho organizacional. Foi utilizada uma metodologia de modelos de equações estruturais com mínimos quadrados parciais, com base em uma pesquisa aplicada a 113 membros de equipes de gestão de empresas colombianas. Identificou-se que a liderança compartilhada da equipe gestora tem efeito positivo no desempenho organizacional e o capital social exerce uma mediação total nessa relação. Os achados permitem destacar a importância de compartilhar responsabilidades de liderança para promover o capital social nas organizações e, assim, atingir os objetivos organizacionais com melhor desempenho.
