A pandemia de COVID-19 e o papel das mulheres na economia do cuidado na América Latina: uma revisão sistemática da literatura

A economia do cuidado integra o trabalho realizado para o cuidado da vida e do bem-estar. A pandemia COVID-19 gerou um aumento dramático neste assunto para as mulheres e mostrou a importância de estudá-la para mitigar seu impacto. Com base nessa necessidade, este artigo desenvolveu uma revisão sistemática da literatura com três objetivos: estudar tendências de pesquisas sobre o tema, analisar o papel da mulher na economia do cuidado na pandemia de COVID-19 e estabelecer uma agenda de pesquisas futuras. Os principais resultados mostram que a pandemia exacerbou as lacunas de desigualdade existentes e afetou as mulheres em cinco áreas específicas: situação econômico-laboral, acesso à tecnologia, saúde, aumento do trabalho doméstico e violência de gênero.
