Percepção empresarial da pandemia COVID-19 e seu impacto no turismo: uma análise qualitativa na região de Extremadura, na Espanha

Resumo

A pandemia COVID-19 causou grandes perturbações no setor do turismo. Essa situação obrigou os agentes setoriais a adotarem medidas importantes, mas também gerou novas oportunidades de negócios. Com base em ferramentas de análise qualitativa, este trabalho analisou a percepção dos empresários do setor sobre a pandemia COVID-19 e delineou as medidas que devem ser adotadas para ajudar a recuperação do setor na região de Extremadura, um destino turístico interior emergente no sudoeste da Espanha. Os resultados mostram que a principal preocupação dos empresários é o impacto económico que a crise está gerando nos seus negócios, além das principais medidas que os empresários turísticos solicitam para ultrapassar esta situação.
