Pokémon Go e seus fatores de sucesso: desenho de um modelo teórico

O Pokémon Go é um jogo para download baseado em localização que causou histeria coletiva durante o seu lançamento em 2016. Este artigo, através de pesquisa documental, tem como objetivo projetar um modelo teórico baseado nos fatores de sucesso do Pokémon Go. Cinco fatores de sucesso foram identificados: 1. Nostalgia, 2. Download gratuito, 3. Atualizações contínuas, 4. Dinâmica de jogos e 5. Implementação favorável de micropagamentos. O modelo teórico projetado pode influenciar o desenvolvimento de modelos estratégicos subsequentes que ajudam aos tomadores de decisão na direção organizacional estratégica. Além disso, essa contribuição teórica pode ser capitalizada pela comunidade acadêmica para analisar em profundidade o mercado de aplicações eletrônicas em pesquisas empíricas subsequentes.
