Impacto das fontes externas de conhecimento na inovação de produtos de empresas com baixa e média intensidade tecnológica

Apesar de suas limitações, pequenas e médias empresas de baixa e média baixa intensidade tecnológica apresentam o desafio de melhorar sua capacidade de inovação. Assim, propõe-se um modelo probit para estudar se existe um efeito positivo de suas fontes externas de conhecimento do mercado e tecnológico sobre sua capacidade de inovar em produtos, para o qual foi colhida amostra de 826 da Pesquisa de Inovação do Peru. Os resultados confirmam que há um efeito positivo por parte das fontes externas de conhecimento, o que favorece a inovação de seus produtos. Esses resultados podem ajudar as agências que promovem a inovação a enfocar melhor as políticas para pequenas e médias empresas em economias emergentes.
