Abstract

This work aimed to design a theoretical model of human resources management in organizations, whose practical application provides management tools for human resources departments, specifically in the health sector. As an own contribution, a methodology that brings together various contrasted application models was developed. As a result, an own theoretical and integrative model, which combines high-performance work systems and the healthy and resilient organization model, was obtained, as a background to individual and collective work engagement. The possible practical implications and the usefulness of the proposed model for human resources departments in the health sector are highlighted, to deal with the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers.
