This article has its origin in the research "The entrepreneur in Bogotá and its action". The objective of the research is to study the entrepreneur founder based in Bogota, from the dynamics of the interrelationships between the entrepreneur itself, his family, and work; all this interactions in a given context. For this study six categories are defined, but this article focuses on one: the employer’s perceptions of its business growth according to the stage where the company is located. The conclusions are interesting because it shows how the feelings, needs, perceptions and motivations of the entrepreneur are transformed with the growth of the company; each stage demands a new management style.
