The aim of this article is to present the trajectory of the social mobilization led by young artists during the “Paro Nacional” in Roldanillo, Valle del Cauca. For this, sociological concepts such as “collective action” and “collective identity” are considered. In addition, special emphasis is placed on art as a vital element for the renewal of the political and thus social protest in the country.
