The present work explores the connections between the Argentinean press and the earthquake that struck Haiti in early 2010. It questions the idea according to which poverty is, per se, an enhancer of the consequences of the disaster. It also intends to, provide the reader with a clear model that allows understanding human behavior at times of social crisis and how the graphic press, as part of society, develops a response to the question that: we all ask ourselves in these kinds of situations, what has happened?, and why us?Downloads
