green technology adoption, environmental responsibility practices, perception of workersAbstract
The objective was to analyze the influence of the adoption of green technologies on environmental responsibility practices from the perspective of workers. For this purpose, a survey was applied to 385 workers of 74 hotels in Mexico City. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was used for data processing. The results show that environmental responsibility practices are supported by the adoption of green technologies according to the cost structure, resource savings, and the benefits they offer. The value of the work lies in exposing the perspective of workers as internal stakeholders of the companies.
